Growing up in Polk County, Florida, Nicholas learned early on that being a dreamer and a believer requires action. To stay grounded and focused, he poured his energy into wrestling, paintball, and various after-school clubs, naturally gravitating toward the strategic thinking of chess and a deep fascination with technology and diverse cultures.



Excelling in math, science, and anatomy, he began searching for a career that could merge his analytical mind with his desire to make a tangible impact. After shadowing the mothers of several friends who worked as nurses, a high school trip to a nursing leadership forum in Boston ultimately solidified his path. That pivotal experience ignited a lifelong passion for healthcare.


The road to his degree was paved with sacrifice, balancing demanding jobs alongside long nights of studying, and navigating through multiple universities that served as vital stepping stones toward his goal. Passing his nursing boards after a year of relentless perseverance transformed his ambition into reality.

Work and Job Duties:

During his tenure managing a high-volume surgical department, Nicholas directed daily clinical and administrative operations to ensure a seamless continuum of patient care. He approached leadership from a 360-degree perspective aligning the deeply personal patient experience with the clinical needs of his staff, the operational expectations of surgeons, and the strategic goals of executive leadership. By leveraging key performance metrics and actively analyzing staff feedback, Nicholas drove continuous improvement and fostered a culture of high engagement. Why Did You Choose a Career in Nursing?

Nicholas was drawn to nursing through his strong aptitude for science and math, combined with a deep desire to help others. Inspired by friends' mothers who were nurses and witnessing their passion for the profession firsthand, he took the initiative to shadow several of them in their work environments. To further explore his calling, Nicholas attended a nursing leadership forum during his senior year of high school, which affirmed his decision to pursue a career in nursing.

What motivates you at the start of each day?

Nicholas begins each day with the motivation to support his team’s success and to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. He approaches his work with a deep sense of purpose, striving to honor his Lord and Savior while making his family proud. Guided by his faith, Nicholas views every encounter as an opportunity to serve those whom the Creator has placed in his path, dedicating himself fully to the calling of compassion and excellence.
